    Transmission mount vibrations

Hi, I'm having some troubles with driveline vibebrations related to which transmission mounts I use. I was running stock E30 325 trans mounts at first and they were too soft for my setup. They had zero vibrations but caused too much movement with the new motor. I then installed Rev shift green poly mounts and with those in I couldn't even drive the car it was so bad. I pulled those out and installed the e21 mounts with AGK cups. These have less vibration compared to the rev shift ones but they are still bad.

I've had poly trans mounts in my e46 and E36's in the past and never had this issue.

Is there a way to make sure the trans mounts are aligned properly?

One thing I have thought about is I have an 8mm spacer under my passenger side engine mount arm to give me header clearance at the control arm bushing. Would this 8mm difference in engine height on the one side cause this?

Use e21 mounts without those cups. I have found it to be best compromise.
