Not my cup of tea and I would never put a v6 in an e30 but it's always nice to see something new done. Unique, and looks very compact, lots of room in the engine bay.

Looks compact width/length wise but what about the height?

i bought the car just for the swap, i overbuilt the engine for the old platform. engine is a 2003 3400 with 3500 heads and intakes. fully ported heads with 5 angle valve job, stainless valves. custom roller camshaft. wiseco 9.1:1 pistons, eagle small block 327 rods modified to fit, balanced rotating assembly, deburred engine block, arp hardware. timing cover from a rwd 3.4 camaro. engine is very underrated/estimated. when the 3400 was bone stock it made 358 whp at 9 psi on an ebay 57 trim turbo. only real problem with the engine is the height, its very tall being the crank is out of the block and mains have side bolts by the oil pan. i kicked around the idea of a custom oil pan, but decided against it. upper intake will have the throttle body moved lower yet.
                        dyno 9 psi factory 3400:

built motor running in old car:

i know that most people are very unfamiliar with the 60 degree v6 from gm, they are great engines, cheap, small/compact, powerful when done right. im expecting power output to be in the mid 500's easily.

                              550HP sure is ruining it.

Don't see how anyone could complain about that. Beats the piss out of an M20 or M42. Don't see many V6s in E30s. Looking forward to this!
