So I just ran into your post nice first start till you got into that accident that sucks, but I see you now have another E30 and it is SWEET! congrats on the sencond one keep us posted with any mods.

Im Back yet again.

I have probably some of the worst luck with e30s.
All that stuff happen to the 2 black bimmers + then i get the calypsorot one drive it for like a week, then starts to over heat. I check around then look at my oil and i get some sweet milkshakes. coolant was mixing with oil kinda bad, and it had recent head work so i called the shop and they said they reused the head bolts and probably the gasket but didnt make that clear. yelled at them for a week probably. finally got around to taking the head off replacing parts putting it back on and 1 day later, mixing just as bad if not worse.

soo my friend had a block rebuilt and i had the head off the black one with 600 miles on it, so built that motor up and that will soon be in the calypsorot.

my friend is pretty much doing this himself and he said it could be done this coming week or maybe next im not in to much of a rush since its already been this long. so ill have more info and pictures later this week

hopefully everything works ok and ill finally get to just drive my e30 daily
