Mtech pod is the section above the side skirts that attaches to the door and fender.
It is still available. Freshly detailed.Originally posted by Andy.BWhenever I am about to make a particularly questionable decision regarding a worryingly cheap diy solution, I just ask myself, "What would Ether-D do?"

I know! Ebay is where it's at. We'll just keep it until the spring. Bad time of year to sell a vert.Originally posted by Andy.BWhenever I am about to make a particularly questionable decision regarding a worryingly cheap diy solution, I just ask myself, "What would Ether-D do?"

Sharp looking car! Anyone on the fence about the car because of the trans is nuts. Autos have better diff gears, haven't had the constant hammering of power off-shift-power on, low mileage so the shell will be nice and creak free (as much as a vert gets) the engine will almost certainly never have spent time bouncing off the limiter, etc. and a clean trans swap is a cinch.
The wiring is plug and play, you do not need to swap out the pedal box (thank god, airbag car boxes suck), and the parts are cheap enough. Its a weekend project if you never did one before, and your doing it in a driveway on jackstands.
GLWS! Anyone balking, find a MTII kit with every clip in tact, no mount holes torn, and matching paint.... Price that out and add in a car with those miles. Let me know how that works out for ya!-Dave
