    Thanks for that. I 'discovered' E30s a few years ago as my sons got older and needed their own cars. Working on their cars reminded my of my college car, a 67 mustang coupe I did all the work on myself. Anyway I got completely hooked on these cars and my family did as well. So I'll be sticking around the community for a long time.

    So it would be pretty stupid to pull the wool over someone's eyes here and ruin my cred by trying to misrepresent stuff. Also I'd really like this car to go to an r3ver, so they'd be around to call me on whatever I didn't disclose anyway :-)

      Here's a zoomed in pic of the driver side trunk well repair area. Keep in mind it's mostly under the car, and at the bottom outside the exhaust pipe.

      -- The bottom of the rear panel is what's needed, and it is directly accessible, as it the part of the panel which the valance welds to. it's also welded to a lip on the bottom of the trunk well.

      -- The bottom of the trunk well itself is completely rust free, and removing the damaged repair panel area will not damage this part - just drill the spot welds out along the bottom inner lip (edge between the green and pink lines)

      -- The rear valance section needs to be replaced, but it's out there in the open and easy to get to. It's also in the bottom part of the car, and most of the repair area will be undercoated anyway.

      Making all the nastiness in that pic go away is not a huge job.

        Pics of the driver rear quarter exhaust area are pretty horrific looking since they're zoomed in. Here's a pic of the rear quarter so you can see the true size of the rust repair area near the exhaust.

                    bump - still available.

                    I went ahead and installed a new radiator. I also replaced the plastic bleed screw on it with an M10 metal allen, because the plastic bleed screws break easily. Cooling system works perfectly, and the heater is nice and hot in cold weather.

                      I also have available a driver front fender and another set of 14" basketweaves with gold faces. They currently run a set of almost new snow tires.

                                SOLD to an R3V member. Threw in a set of weaves+snow tires and brand new OEM fuel lines as well.

                                Three things came up, unexpected.. disclosing here for future reference:
                                -- i misplaced the jack somewhere so I need to score the buyer another one
                                -- the central locking started acting up (the pass lock mechanism seems to be stuck, preventing the central locking from working - when locking it locks then immediately unlocks, and visa versa)
                                -- the fogs stopped working. checked both lights with a battery and they're fine, and so is the fog relay. so it's probably the fog switch itself (I messed with it when I repaired the interior lights... it could be a loose connector or something).
