    Heater core?

So Justins E28 has crappy heat.

We verified flow through the hot water shutoff valve, and verified that water is flowing correctly to the heater core. Heat is still very poor, only warming the car is the fan is on a low setting.

Not at all what I expect from a BMW heater.

Anyone have any suggestions? The heater core install looks to be a bear of a job. Justin has been taking about flocking his dash, and we have to deal with pulling the carpet anyway due to the incredible water leak the new windshield caused, so if we have to pull all of it anyway we will just replace the stupid thing...but still, if you have any ideas, post them up.

    thanks!

Unless you're very crafty, it's a dash out ordeal.

That said, if you're taking everything out anyways, I'd do it. Some guys have had luck nursing them along with stop leak, but eventually it must be done.

Imagine the e28 assembly line. First thing in the car, heater core.
