        That is not real.

The ACS badge may be legit but it would be for front grill or less likely the boot.

The lines are too thick. They are stick on. The valve cover ornamentation is one single piece for a genuine.

That is not an M30 ACS Valve Cover .
It may be worth $30. Front grill badges can be found for well under $100. Genuine.

Nice way to make your error someone else's:

            "BMW AC SCHNITZER M30 ENGINE VALVE COVER FOR E12 E28 E32 E34 E3 E9

Taken off a AC Schnitzer S5 engine.
Good condition for its age. White stripes could be renewed as they peelled off due to age.
Will fit most M30 engines so its a really cool part to shake up your engine bay a little bit :) "

            Keep it real.

The idea the "stripes" peeled off is a sure indication it is a fake. Let alone the grill/boot badge stuck atop the valve cover stick-on stripes. Like I said, this is a $30 valve cover with maybe, depending on condition, $30 badge.

I talked to the owner. He said this is a real ACS valve cover but the front grill was replaced some time ago. He is sending me photos to back up his word.

                    Thank you for doing so.

Thing is, I could upload a photo of an E34 S5 and say it came from there.. or show you a catalog and say it came from there.. but you got duped.

There is a guy who makes these kinds of placards to affix to your valve cover. All sorts of MTECH, BMW, ALPINA type stuff.. from overseas, advertises on here.

People lie. You got ripped. Lesson learned hopefully and shop smarter next time.

An ACS M30 Valve Cover is a pretty uncommon piece. Other than an entire S5 M30 motor I saw listed on eBay, I have only seen a handful of them listed for sale.

Again, you could have value in the badge at least, if it is not destroyed. The trunk badges are harder to come by. The grill badges a bit less difficult. I think the trunk and grill badges are of different dimensions. If you take a measurement, we could see which you have there.
