Just curious and yes, i searched m42club, bfc and here, do the M42 car radiators suck like the e36 325/328/m3 ones? Do the end tanks separate from the core? Do they have any problems and would you guys ever buy a used one?

No, they do not suck. They're great! If you run one with an electric fan (14" is the biggest you can go) It can cool any 24V motor no problem. I ran this setup with the lower temp m20 t-stat and the needle wouldnt even go past the middle mark with the fan on in summer traffic. I THINK it even helps with supercharger fitment since its smaller.

Right on. thats exactly what my set up is (24v w. electric fan) im just looking to clean up my engine bay and ditch the coolant res.
