Reggie's Swap Meet! Indy area - August 27th - Bring your junk!

I say bring your junk, but seriously, no one wants your garbage:).

I am interested in hosting a swap meet to buy, sell, and trade BMW parts. If you have other cool "stuff", like vintage non-BMW parts, or just cool things that appeal to all of us car folks, I'd invite you to bring it (I have an infatuation with anything coin-operated:)). Heck, art would be cool too!

For now we'll plan to have it at my shop in Westfield, IN (46074). I need to know how many of you are serious about attending, as I could run out of room pretty quick. If so, I'll try to find us a bigger space. The goal is to keep this free or cheap.

This is not all about RMW selling parts. This is about all of us buying, selling, and trading parts, as a community. Personally, I am just as interested in buying as selling.

I will have some super cheap "common" parts, and probably some free stuff too. I need to do some thinning of my shelves, and hate to send stuff to the dump.

Please, post in this thread if you plan to attend - yes, no, or maybe.

Also, if you do plan to attend, you may want to list the things you intend to bring, and/or what you are looking for.

Let's take some money out of those shipping companies pockets! This would be a great time to get rid of some big, bulky items!

I'll be here at 8:00 AM, so you can get here anytime after that. Realistically, 10-11 would be the latest I'd think you'd want to arrive/set-up. I'd guess we'd wrap up by 2:00-3:00

Awesome! So far I have commitments from several people, bringing 2002, e21, e30, e34, e36 parts, BMW and F1 memorabilia and maybe some die-cast stuff. One local enthusiast plans to bring a TRAILER full of parts!

I'll attend. I have some stuff cluttering up my garage that needs to go. I even have a couple VW items I need to get rid of.
