I purchased this vehicle in January 2008 with 175k on the odo from the original owners daughter. It was my daily driver till November 2015. Since then it has only been driven occasionally. All service has been done at my local BMW dealer by a Master Technician with 15+ years experience, or by myself if it was simple job. Components were upgraded where possible if replacement was required. If available, aftermarket replacement parts were used if they provided a longer life or enhanced performance over the OEM item.

Engine:
Original engine and transmission replaced at 258k (on odo, which shows actual mileage on the vehicle)
Replacement engine had ~147k on it at the time of installation
Replacement transmission had ~50k on it at the time of installation
Before replacement, virtually all seals, gaskets, and orings were replaced on both engine and transmission, as well as a new clutch (clutch disk, pressure plate, throwout bearing, pilot bearing, pivot ball), timing belt (belt, tensioner, tensioner pin, and spring), and valve adjustment.
Electric fan conversion (SPAL 16" Slim fan and E36 Radiator) Installed Summer 2015
Turner Motorsports 91 octane chip.
New aftermarket alternator Summer 2016


Transmission:
Short shift kit (old school solid shifter; not sure of the brand, very well made)
Weighted shifter rod (again, old school; not sure of the brand, but very well made)
Garagistic Delrin front and rear shifter bushings
Delrin spacer used to adapt late model shift rod joint to early model joint (less play)
New Sachs clutch kit with replacement transmission
Redline Differential fluid


Suspension/Brakes/Wheels:
Genuine BMW M-tech suspension (springs and shocks)
M3/Cabrio Rear sway bar (14.5mm, stock is 12mm)
Poly sway bar bushings front and rear
Brembo blank rotors with Hawk HPS Pads
UUC braided stainless brake lines
14" basketweaves with factory size 195/60-14 all season tires
**Also available, Winter wheel and tire setup. 14" steel wheels with dedicated winter tires and BMW hubcaps
E36 steering rack (from a 94 318cic with 80k) included with adapter kit, but not installed.


Exterior:
Factory color (Delphin Grey) resprayed by Mt Airy Collision (Summer of 2014)
Paint polished and protected with DP PoliCoat sealant and CarPro Reload
Shadowline (satin black) exterior trim (sanded, primed, and painted; factory was chrome) **needs to be redone, but I have extra primer and paint
Model badges removed from trunk lid (new replacement included)
IS Front lower spoiler
Smoked front turn signals (still light up amber)
US Ellipsoid headlights retrofitted using adapter harnesses (factory sealed beam H4 wiring is completely intact)
DDM Tuning Xenon kit 5000K
Fog light delete panels (a few spare fog lights included)
High Beams wired to fog light button with adapter harnesses to allow low and high beam usage simultaneously (factory wiring is completely intact if you wanted to add fog lights to the car)
Spare door moldings included (all 4, some in better condition than others)


Interior:
Pearl Beige houndstooth cloth Sport seats with matching rear seat from a 325IS (the remaining stock interior is Natur Beige, but the Pearl Beige blends in fairly well). Spare BMW upholstery material can be included for repairs.
Service Indicator board in gauge cluster replaced with refurbished Lithium board from Bavarian Restoration (Spring 2015)

Garagistic replacement delrin odometer gears (Fall 2014)
Mtech 1 leather steering wheel
