Hmm. Too dark. What program were you using? Were you using bracketed shots? Can you post the originals here?

I was using photomatix. They are suppose to be dark.

IMO overdone and mediocre images to begin with.

Halos around everything, extreme everything. It really doesn't ad anything but distraction to the pictures in my opinion.

Yeah they're too dark first of all, also the halo'ing is pretty exessive. It looks like the smoothing is just too low, the more you move the sliders up the more "realistic" the images look (less halo'ing mostly). Try to find a good middle ground between these and no effect and it'll be much better.
Not bad tho, awesome cars... that ix is sexy :)

I'd go with a lot more/less exposure than you're using. I think my recent shoot turned out pretty good and i used sets of 4-5 for each photo, ranging from almost completely white to almost all dark.

Im really impressed with some of those cars and some of those shots. I cant wait to have you shoot my car. The rack would look stellar on your car but the basket reminds me of a friends jeep. Car looks good tho Tim, we need to scrub them down good this weekend. I really need to throw down some wax on mine.
