Plans for this include an S14 motor/tranny swap, 5-lug conversion, half cage, and numerous other goodies. This car will become the weekend track car. We'll provide more pics and details as the project progresses.

...and immediately though, "Yay, another dreamer"...And then I saw the rest of your post.

    Seriously impressive!
Exactly what I was thinking. Noice work.

looks very nice! keep the pics/ updates coming.
2.0 S14 only had 5 hp less than the 2.3 S14, so i dont think it would be much of a dif.
            Such a cool car.

Thanks for the words of encouragement!
The carpet was sold already, I do have some other misc parts, email if you need something.

Here's just another quick update with some pics.
We went with manual window cranks and regulators. This saved us about 5 lbs overall, not as much as we wanted, but not bad when you add in all the wires and buttons that got removed also.

We took the car outside over the weekend for a quick spin. It drives! and so far everything's working out just fine. The fancy dashboard we've got going now will be replaced with the original one. :)

Our new euro rub strips showed up as well, which will help make the body look much nicer, as well as remove a few ounces from the wiring and bulbs. :)

Is it really only a 5hp difference? was there any difference between the motor givin in italy and this motor?
