car turning over and getting fuel at fpr but not starting

Recently got a 88 325i,in pretty rough shape, started and ran but was having some overheating issues so I replaced the head gasket\water pump\ timing belt, flushed my whole system and replaced all the old coolant hoses. (Head gasket was ruined) . I finished up today and went to fire her up and Its turning over but not starting. I checked for fuel at the fpr and I have fuel, then checked for spark, also there. Any advice on what I should check next or any idea what my issue could be would be greatly appreciated.

CPS is the next thing I would look at.

Are the injectors clicking? Do you have spark at the plugs or just at the coil wire? If the cap and rotor are toast, you would have coil spark but not plug spark. Double check the electrical connections to be sure you got them all back on and the AFM electrical connection. You should be able to spray some starter fluid into the throttle body and get it to go. Be careful with the starter fluid. It blows up.
