Hey guys, I'm trying to get my tachometer to work with an '86 325e and an M30B35 with an '89 535i wiring harness.
The tach is completely dead and nothing I've tried has made it move an inch. It worked before the swap (Also, to be clear, engine runs OK and no major problems to report there).
I tried wiring from the C101 plug to C104 like another thread suggested, which didn't work. I also tried wiring from the ECU like this.
I'm pretty sure I had the connections right on the c104.
Basically, I have no idea what I'm doing and I'm wondering if anyone else has tackled this problem before.
