    Bucket List Road & Tracks

Obviously 99.9% of us want to drive the Nurburgring before we die. Its not totally realistic, especially if you want to take your beloved E30 on it. I have driven the Ring and its certainly something that should be on your list and I would like to do it more, and yes, I dream about taking my E30 on it.

That being said, I have wondered what are some roads or tracks that you dream of driving before you die. Here are some others that are on my list

    - Laguna Seca (this one should be done next year)
    - Road Atlanta (hear nothing but good things about it)
    - Tail of the Dragon
    - La Carrera Panamerica
    - Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps
    - LeMans (more just want to see the 24 hour race, but yea)
    - San Bernadino Pass into Switzerland
    - Stelvio Pass
    - Isle of Man
    - Pikes Peak

Yes, those last two are because of Top Gear, but now that I know, I want to drive them too at some point.

What roads & tracks are on your list?

How is it possible you drove both passes but not the Ring?!? I rented a prepped Polo at the track and did 4 laps. Totally worth the cost of entry, I want to hit the Ring anytime I travel to Europe.

My US driver's license became invalid due to my work permit after 6mo in Munich (working at BMW), but Switzerland didn't care. No companies would rent to me in Germany because of the license issue so I took the train to Switzerland and did a road trip all through the Alps in an A4 1.8T wagon. Car was surprisingly not terrible!

Basically I waited too long by the time I had enough vacation (and money!) saved up and couldn't do the Ring, but I had stupid amounts of fun going hiking backpacking and hooning in the Alps so I wasn't too choked up by it haha.

The Ring's on the list but I haven't made it back yet.

This could shape up to be quite a good list! Thanks for the add-ons!

The Ring is truly a surreal experience. My first lap was a total waste because I was just giddy.

                      Add to the list:

Hwy 1 from Morro Bay up to Monterey, CA. Amazing drive.

Also Arizona 89A from Flagstaff down to Sedona.

US 6 from Salt Lake City to Moab aint too shabby either.

I've done the following tracks - all good:

                      MidOhio
                      Road Atlanta
                      NCM
                      Sonoma
                      Laguna Seca

On the list for next year are VIR, Watkins Glen, and maybe Road America.
