which water pump? single or dual inlet?

Need some help folks. I have a 1988 325 SETA sedan with a build date of 9/1987 on the door.

I need to change my water pump and I am not sure which one it is. I have read that there are 2 types, the dual inlet one ( for earlier years) and the sungle inlet one.

    For a 1988 325, with a 9/1987 build date, which one should i get?

I tried to take a look at it but its pretty difficult to confirm.

Easiest way to tell is the square coolant tank on the driver side gets the single outlet, barrel shaped on the passenger side gets the dual outlet.

Post a picture. We can help. Cooling setups can be changed over time, and production date is not a good indicator of what's currently installed in your ride after 30 years of life.
