1: HC Bill, current Bill will break this Country, It needs to be removed

2: Reform SSN is a must, private sect. works much better than the Gov.

So you found a list of 10 hot-button topics, that last of which reinforces the notion that they are out to keep the list of things to keep your dick out of as long as possible. Who the fuck cares how many dudes make up the train that Joshh is in the middle of? For as pro-business as they are they should stand behind prostitution 100% instead of just when they know they won't be caught. Just think how much safer and lucrative a regulated industry would be. Same with drugs. Why pot is STILL criminal is a mystery to me.
The right to make bad decisions is the least protected right. About the only issue they will show some backbone on are guns (something I really hate the dems stance on).


With the rest of your list there, don't really want to get into the particulars of each issue too much as each one of those has it's own thread here. All I can say is that it's a shame you can't pick and choose issues one at a time instead of settling on a group with a full plate agenda. The R's seem like just riding the lacklash wave that the tea party has been pushing, without any solutions to replace them with. I don't even think they care, they just want to win. About the only thing that looks like a solution to a problem is the anchor baby thing.

And privatizing social security? Fuck no. Fuck the stock market and that idea. I told my 401k handler to go all bonds instead of stocks, and guess what I didn't lose a dime. I won't ever trust those goons.

blocking cap and trade is all fine and dandy but that stems from my lack of faith in the stock market or that it would ever be run properly. But these guys take it too far.. To blow off climate change as a big scam just to avoid dealing with it is irresponsible. Whether it is our fault or not it pays to stay alert to your surroundings, and to limit the rate of damage to the environment. I appreciate that the river near me is clean enough to swim in, and not a fire hazard like it was 50 years ago. But the EPA has been a little out of control lately. Both sides need to find some middle ground here.

#3 is a laughable waste of time. Whatever they are looking for will either not be found or nobody will give a fuck. Just like the last time admin changed. In the end it just amounted to some noise and wasted time/money. What they really want is just more mud to sling.

All they can see are market share values, how do we replace this revenue we lost by not burying people? How about you stick to good honest loan interest like a good little bank and quit dicking small companies because your CEO took home half the assets.

6 thru 10, Those safety nets are there for a reason. Poor people aren't going to just go away because you stopped assistance. Despite how much $ it would save I have no faith that it would lower my taxes. And I'm curious how much $ it really would save. I would only accept such drastic cuts if we switched to the fair-tax (no income or savings tax, just sales).

Christian conservative? Never.

And change the Constitution? Wrong tool for the job. The right tool is deportation without prejudice. It would incentivize people who want to live in America to come in through the proper channels or face possible lifetime ban. But that's better for ALL Americans, except those who directly profit from illegal labor, so it'll probably be called a Socialist idea. ;)

Socially liberal yet economically conservative Moderate here, aka someone who flirts between parties and actually decides elections. Aka the center of the political spectrum.

I highly disagree with Republicans' ideas to repeal the 14th amendment (yay bigotry and racism masquerading as the problem d'jour) and their baseless hatred of gays. I'm quite against those ideas, and think they're retarded. I'm very much in favor of deporting the illegal immigrants since they are illegally in the country. I don't buy the fearmongering though, the vast majority of them are here for a better life. But, they broke the law, so GTFO.

As for the other issues.....meh. I want Republicans back in office not because I like their agenda (the party abandoned moderates like me a looooong time ago) but because I believe legislative deadlock is fundamentally important to good governance. Democrats controlling both houses and the executive branch essentially results in rubber stamping legislation without substantive debate.

With Republicans in control of one or the other or both houses, they will be forced to either work WITH the other party and the President to get shit done and to prove they are capable of governing, or nothing will get done and they will have proved they're just as spineless and pathetic as the Democrats. In Case 1, legislation that will actually help the country will likely get passed, and less stupid bullshit will pass as well. In Case 2, we're no worse off than we are now, are we?


My plan is to vote the bastards out, regardless of party affiliation.
