Never really got into hot wheels but passed these today for a dollar each so I said why not. I was a little bummed the packaging wasn't in good shape I probably just take them out and put them on a shelf near my desk.

Re-hanging shelves in the boys' room after repainting. In addition to the 1:18 scale models I acquired as a kid, I have these...The Bimmer is from the late 70s, before I was borne. The rest I purchased as a kid in the late 80s-early 90s. Anyone remember Matchbox "World Class"? Those are the first 2. Rubber tires, mirrored windows, and all.

I do remember those! Had a bunch as a kid but they're all missing. I'm sure they'll turn up eventually, gotta be at my parent's house somewhere.

I always loved the detail of the lights, grilles, etc. Didn't remember that they were Matchbox though, I'm now a Hot Wheels snob haha. I would still love to find them though, they were some of my favorites back then.

I'm with you nowadays. I remember when the axles on the hot wheels were junk, and Matchbox made the good stuff. Seems to be the other way 'round now.
