Help: Haltech users

Hi , any one is familiar with haltech e6x? I'm asking for some help..

My question is about the trigger input ..

^ I understand that I should use internal reluctor and adjust the reluctor gain to get a smooth signal..

but what about the filter? 0, 1, 2? I have two wires in my crank position sensor ..

As for home input should select hall effect, right?
