      How old is your oxygen sensor? I know you said you passed smog but with what you described and the other usual stuff checking good..... might be time to hookup a scan tool at your buddy's shop and watch real time data; see if you can see the sensor cycling.

        so changed over the coolant temp sensor and checked vac line from fpr and still the same.
        how does one clean the air flow meter?

          Just wondering if you every got the rough idle resolved? My 93 vert is having the same issue. Replaced just about everything. Blue sensor, AFM, O2, rebuilt head, checked all intake joints, cleaned cap and rotor, 150-160 psi across all cylinder, plugs are new but get dark buildup after a few hundred miles. Still has a rough idle, almost seems to be misfiring every 5-10 seconds. Mine unfortunately will not pass smog at at idle and 15mph, but under all emission limits at 25mph! Original Cat on the car.


          Really stumped. :/
