Are you an NCC or MD chapter member? If so I'd look at list available tools some members loan them out. NCC was an active chapter when I resided in that area.
I will need to join CCA. I am not currently a member.
No need for shop recommendation unless they will provide the scan for free. I will fix it myself. Not being jerky, just frugal. And the rate charged, I would just rather put that towards buying the tool for my stash. I won't be out of the BMW scene anytime soon.
I'm located in baltimore and have a Peake Tool and BMW Scanner V1.4. I used V1.4 to turn the SRS off on my e46 M3, but it may work for the e30. I have a 20 pin OBDI adapter.
