I think I can I think I can (AKA Locomotive thread)
I'll see your big turbo and raise you a big turbo...
Off a Boeing B17

Are you sure about that? Wikipedia says the engine in a B17 is supercharged, not turbo. Though thinking about it, it does say centrifugal supercharger, which is basically a turbo driven by the crankshaft, so maybe your picture is of a supercharger, not a turbo.
Interesting enough, the prototype B17 used an engine that was licensed to BMW who further developed it.
Do you need glasses, Will? Look at the OP's pictures again, yours is tiny compared to that monster.
The one I posted a pic of is more than 3 feet wide/tall (depending how you look at it.) . Perhaps its not as big as the OPs one, but this thing is huge, and yes it might be a centrifugal supercharger, I honestly can't remember. I took those pics 2 years ago. I thought it was a turbo, but there is a good chance it is a supercharger. And in my defence, at least its for a gasoline engine rather than a diesel.
Ding ding ding. May not be the same exact model, haven't had the pleasure of seeing one outside of the loco yet.
We were working on the head end power unit (Generator that supplies 480v to the consist) and I figured I'd snap a couple off the Primary mover.
I'll add more photo's to this thread. This shall become my "everything is bigger on choochoo train's" thread.... Or something.
Here's the engine it's attached to.
MP36C loco. These engines are the coolest things I've ever seen. 2 stroke, turbocharged, diesel, with exhaust valves in the heads and intake ports on the cylinder wall.. Say that 3 times fast.
