Sorry to bring back from the dead....

I read through these pages and couldn't get a clear answer...

You only have to weld the Megan's in? Or are the BC's weld in as well?

Both have to be welded. They are the same product, just different colors.
Biggest difference is customer service from dealer/reseller.
Spring rate options are offered by BC.
I'd be interested to know if there is a general supplier of these springs so I can pick from someone with more knowledge than BC dealers.

I've been running Megan Coilovers for a month now and I can't say anything bad about them, I absolutely love the ride quality on them. Not too soft and not too stiff, they're just right. I haven't messed with the dampening either because I just love how they ride. As for lowness, I shortened my front struts to go lower and my rears are pretty much maxed out, the rears could go a little lower for my taste, but they're good for now. That's my input so if you're looking for something better than lowering springs, for a fair price, I recommend going with Megan.

                You shortened the Megans?
Has anyone else done this as well?

I'm looking into these or BCs, which I've read go lower than Megans, but I assume that's probably due to that person unknowingly comparing their car to someone who didn't have shortened springs and/or strut housing like I asked about above.

Anyone install these on a convertible?
