Might be into the springs. Anyone know if these would be a softer ride than my H&R sports? I've got a set of koni yellows I'm gonna run with them.

50406's are H&R sports. They are the 'proper' application for late model/M20 cars.

There is also a 29664 H&R sport, which has different spring rates. Of course both sets will fit any E30, but the 29664's were made for the early model 318i.

FWIW - I have 50406s and some unknown variation of Billys and it rides rather rough.
