GC rear coil over help

Hello All

My car came with GC so I am not really sure how they get installed.

Curious are the rear adjusters just placed in or is there a bolt that holds them in place or threaded into place? I'm just trying to remove the rear adjusters and for the life of me I can't get them out.

The spring are the 2.25 diameter.

The red threaded bung is pressed onto the stock nipple left behind once the rubber isolator is removed. There is no bolt like e36/46 assemblies.

Once they're on, it usually takes a few whacks with a deadblow or something similar to remove them. In other words leave the gold nut on and hit the underside of the nut.
