A little bit of buying advice

    Hey everyone,

All things going well I'm going to be looking at an '86 325e this weekend as a potential project as I have a lot of downtime at the moment. It looks fairly solid from the pictures and the description, the biggest problem listed is that it runs very rich and rough a lot of the time with a guess that it's a sensor failure or vacuum leak.

I was just after a bit of an idea on this in case it was something I hadn't read about and it's an extremely bad sign. One of those PS, I know this seems minor but it's actually terminal kind of deals.

The shell is meant to be very solid and the price is right however.

    Thanks!

Likely a vac leak or the o2 sensor.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking too. Vac leak/O2 sensor is fine by me.

I've found that applies to every car regardless of brand...

Sold 24hrs before I could go see it. The hunt continues... it was $1000 for a rust free 325e so I'm not surprised.
