Is there anyway to aim the foglights. I have one foglight on that is doing a nice job of lighting up the tree branches above me. I have and 89 325iX with plastic bumpers. Thanks for your help.

Not sure if the US cars are different.

i am at a loss...
i installed new out of the box fogson my 1990 e30 325i sedan. upon inspection all is good. the adjusting screws on both were at the same position...
upon installation the drivers side lights up the fog line perfectly. the passenger side is up and to the right about 45 degrees...
i have tried everything i think to get them to aim correctly... moving the screws etc...
the front valance is true and not bent or dinged...
any other mcgiver suggestions to get them to move??
any suggestions appreciated.

Fog light out of whack
If the mounting bracket is good, and the light face matches the valance and points similarly to (symmetric with) the driver side, then I'd check the lamp in the reflector. A small misalignment of the filament can throw the beam way out, even millimeters can be fatal.
Try swapping lamps from side to side, see if the crazy angle goes with the lamp. Normally the filament location in relation to the base flange is within less than 1 mm; sometimes a bad one slips through. Or maybe it wasn't fully seated in the opening - it's been known to happen.
Good luck, let us know what you find and if/how you resolve it.Andy says "Be Seen, and Not Hurt!"
