I don't always use custom pistons. But when I do, I make sure to raise the compression ratio from 9.0:1 to 10.0:1

Some fresh new pistons for a 2.8 M20 being built up! Just getting a freshly built motor, hoping to make decent N/A power.

Picked up a Bimmerheads billet 272 Cam (Thanks Matt), dropped if off at the shop. Also just ordered some IE HD Rockers from a local forum member and am going to have the shop order up some MM valve springs!

Currently looking at various exhaust options to have put together just before the swap is dropped in. I'm interested in something pretty free flow with a good amount of sound volume.

This is an idea of what I'm looking for and in my opinion one of the most unique and best sounding set up's I've come across.

On the list so far is:

                Vibrant 1040 Muffler (5in x 9in x 15in)
The Source for Professional Fabrication Components in the Racing and Performance Industry.

                7101 Cat
The Source for Professional Fabrication Components in the Racing and Performance Industry.

                1792 Resonator (4in x 12in)
The Source for Professional Fabrication Components in the Racing and Performance Industry.

All hooked up to some long tube headers at the front end.

Would 2.5in piping be good or should I go with 3in?

                Any thoughts are welcome.
