Thank you! A badly built 2.5" system. It just has a huge resonator with no muffler as of now. About to be rebuilt, full straightpipe back to a muffler.
I have some catching up to do with the updates, mostly paintwork restoration, do that soon.

updates to catch up
Well first of I replaced the driver's side, inside door handle. It just kind of, well, just look for yourself.
Then I ate some food as a reward for myself(as if being able to open my door again wasn't enough).
Then I parked at work.
Then I stumbled upon some stupid kids, parked, and ate with them.
Then while it was slow at work one day, I decided to go ahead and try to Rotax 30 year old paint. I'm doing this piece by piece as it's a learning curve as well as having limited time to do it with such nice and plentiful supplies as are available at my work.
Left is cut with very light polish, right is untouched.
Entire hood after full light polish and quick wax.
I have a habit of ruining things.
Then I did the trunk another night in a heavier polish, which looked about the same but a bit worse. In the bottom of the first picture, you can see what it started as. Second is finished.
The kid who was working me with that night had a pretty cool 1-series, it's crazy how similar in size to e30's these are.

Did an oil change today, was the first one I've done, very much overdue.
Just as a reminder
Full bay pics, and those tasty, heat-cycled ebay headers.
Short, terrible sound clip. R3v at the end was to ~3-4000rpm. Terrible sounding now, as I've actually worn through part of the piping, so there is a massive leak...
Just ordered some nice goodies for it, so I'll be waiting for those.

After the bi-weekly wash, claybar, wax, vacuum and interior protectant application:
The next day I finally got around to heavy compound buffing the roof- before and after.
Ate a burrito.
And I also got the Italian Peyton woodgrain wheel I bought, as well as the OEM e46 cabrio floor mats from Turner.
And because I never got a shot of that wood insert I did,
Installing a new headunit, as my favorite one that I had in here finally died.
