HI, looking to do a manual conversion to my 1989 facelift 325i. I have found a complete 1985 car with a manual trans and am woundering if it will bolt up ok. Any exp?

if the 85 car is an eta, then yes. I put an 84 eta trans on an 89 m20b25 motor. There are some problems that people run into depending on if the trans has the deeper bell housing or not. Sometimes requires the use of a 323i throw out bearing if i remember correctly (been awhile since i searched all this). Just do some searching, I know i found a really informative thread about transmission on here somewhere. But short answer is yes, if it's a g260 it'll fit. It will have two open holes on the under side but just tape over with metal tape or leave them open if you dont care.
