Hey friends,
Up for sale is my 1987 Lachssilber 325e Coupe. I have recently found a car I absolutely need in my life, so this beauty has to go.
The car has been a Washington car all of its life. It was delivered to Issaquah, WA in May 1988 ( I have all supporting documentation), and was ordered as a pretty basic E30 (cloth interior, no cruise control) for $19k. The car was driven by the original owners for almost 21 years when sold to the previous owner who lives in Bellevue, WA.
The vehicle is completely VIN-matching, has a crack free dash, 5speed manual, and I have all documentation since new. All original Houndstooth cloth interior (comfort seats) with grey carpet and black floor mats.
The car has 270k miles but has a rebuilt M20B25 engine/Motronic 1.3 computer system in the car now. I have documentation for the M20B25 rebuild.
A few things that have been done in the last year:
- Rebuilt M20b25 (brand new top end components, timing belt, waterpump, thermostat, new
oil pump, main bearings, rod bearings, completely resealed)
- M42 radiator swap to clean up the engine bay.
- Resealed Early model G260 (input, output, shift selector)
- Rebuilt shifter components with OEM cup shifter, Garagistic poly shifter carrier bushings, new
shifter selector joint and foam pad.
- Brand Sachs clutch kit ( Sachs Late model Pressure plate, ETA unsprung clutch disk, Single
Mass Flywheel, Euro 323i throw out bearing)
- Brand new Clutch slave cylinder
- Garagistic 80a poly engine mounts and trans mounts
- Brand new Guibo and CSB
- Rebuilt S3.73 LSD with new OEM bushing
- Complete front end suspension refresh: Control arms, Poly M3 FCABs, tierods, sway bar end
links, etc.
- H&R Street performance coilovers (MSRP is $2,250)
- New hubs and wheel bearings
- New Sachs front strut mounts & Hardware
- New Bilstein E46 M3 RSMs
- Euro bumpers front and rear
- 721 Euro front valance
- Euro Grills
- Smoked Depo headlights w/ Squared motorwerks retrofit conversion w/ morimoto projectors (might keep these and convert everything back to stock).
- Single piped mandrel bent exhaust with Supersprint dual tip muffler
The only thing this car needs is, are some nice wheels :up:
Overall the interior is a 9/10 and the exterior is honestly a 7/10 as it has more dings than I would like. Since I have found the Ultimate unicorn, this car needs to go. This well help replenish funds after I purchase said unicorn :)
