Quick post, will add more info and better pics once the weather clears up.
Bought this car for the tranny and was going to part it out, but I ended up using a different tranny in the e30, and I don't have the time or heart to part out and crush this one.
Asking $1000 obo as it sits, but if I start cleaning it up and fixing the little things, that may change.
This is a project car, so I'll briefly cover what I saw are negatives,
-headliner needs help
-moisture getting in (probably door seals)
-heater blower motor not working
-front suspension wanders (drivable, but you really should address it)
-valves need adjusting, and just general tune up needed.
-patch of primer over left wheel well. I have the paint to touch it up, but waiting for weather to be dry
-needs a shift boot, and a globe box lock
With that out of the way, the positives
-tranny shifts smooth and no grinding
-shocks and struts seem decent and not worn out
-interior leather is in good shape, once cleaned will look decent
-all the lighting and other electrics (except the heater motor) appeared to work last night when we moved it back over to my place
-M30 starts and runs every time.
-It's a complete car.
-I don't know e34's as well as E30's but checking the usual rust spots for an E30, there is no rust that I could see. (I'll happily take pics of specific areas for someone interested.)
Clean Oregon title in hand.
