    I have my car stripped, and I mean STRIPPED! The trunk has been completely cut out, and light tin to make a fender well. there is nothing left of the doors but a 6" peice for body line then clean body metal dropped straight down. all interior panels are gutted to nothing but light flexible body metal. full cage from the bumber to the bumper and its weight is down to 2200 lbs hood and deck lid are nothing but thin peices of metal with hood pins to hold it down.
    still trying to get lighter as I am 250 all geared to race and the minimum weight for racing is 2,000

      All factory steel body panels. Steel roof piece held to roof with aluminum 1 Meter rulers.

      We have a wing bolted to the steel trunk and also a Chevy s10 truck front bumper beam welded on to protect the radiator; the original BMW front bumper is gone but the rear with shocks remains.

      minor metal added for reinforcement of things like rear control arms also
