PSA - It's Fall - Check your Cabin Filter!!!

...especially if it's on a car you recently purchased!!! Good thing I decided to change it now instead of riding it out through the winter.

No wonder the A/C was struggling :hitler:

    E30s have a cabin filter?

I just ordered recently filters all around for the climate systems. I find if I go more than 3 months with the Ford, it gets a wet sock smell. I keep up on these for sure and it is great advice. Thanks for the reminder.

I just replaced mine a month ago, I haven't got my glove box to sit straight since haha.
Air flow is a lot better.

This is what my filter looked like when I replaced it a while back:

Just replaced the two in the E38. Probably the first time in a long time. The pleats could not be compressed there was so much garbage stuck between them. Air flows better and smells fresher, too.

I changed mine on the e36 a while back to, never been replaced since new and it's nasty how bad these things get. And most owners tend to forget about them..

Yepper. If you order one, I'd keep a fire extinguisher handy in the mean time. Not to scare you.... but just in case the heater decides to do something funny :(

If you go to check it on an e34....just replace it.

                              What a goddamn dick mission.

Don't forget to vacuum that cavity out too. Do it right.
