So, I've driven the car for 2 days now, and love it; I need to get the little oddity bugs sorted out, though.

I commute about 110 mi/day.. So, thursday morning, I filled it up for it's maiden voyage to work..
To/from work, and a couple places around town, and the gas gauge still showed nearly full.. looking at the 128mi on the odometer, I decided to refill the tank to see how much gas it's used, before making the 2nd trip to work.. 3.4gal was all I could fit in it.. 128/3.4 = 37.6! Hell yah.. not bad for an M42 with 200k+ miles on it ;) That, and the apparent 'airplane gears' rear diff..

So, I need to finish figuring out the OBC and instrument cluster, as parts of each aren't working. I'm thinking most of it is due to the wires at C101 still not connected (can't find where they go), and whatever else..

Any input?

Ok, I've got the rest of the cluster working. The white plug that was hanging loosely, behind the glovebox, actually contained both the tach wire, and the signal wire for the econometer (black, and yellow/white wires, respectively). I just made jumper wires to go from C101 to this C104 plug. However, there's a green/red wire (pin2) on C104 that I have no idea what it's for.. Ideas for that?

Also, fixed my odometer today, by cannibalizing a spare cluster.. I'll test out it's functionality tomorrow. The gears from the 'broken' cluster, were crumbling to pieces by barely touching them.

I did the shadowline 'mod' today. yesterday, I installed the georgegraves OBC temp sensor and dimming domelight installs. quality pieces, might I add.
