I'm installing new h&r sports springs and bilstien sport shocks in my new to me 1990 325ic. The car has about 80,000 on the clock. I had a mechanic give it a once over and other than the front shocks and springs, everything else underneath appears to be ok. There is a little play in the steering but nothing I can't live with. This will be a weekend DD car for me. I plan to do the rear myself and take it to the garage for the front.
My question is since the front is already apart and I have the sunk cost of the alignment, are there any "while I'm there items" I should do at the same time? Money is somewhat of an object but I don't want to be penny wise and pound foolish and like I mentioned before everything else appears to be ok.
Thanks in advance!!
