    Valve Cover Hardware

Hey y'all, I snapped one of the valve cover studs and I don't know where/what to order.

So far, I only know that they are m6x1.0 but I cant seem to find the hardware on Pelican or Bavauto.

Can anyone help me out? :/

get an m6 bolt, cut the head off, drink beer, rejoice.

I take pee pee touches for tips, given the fact that you're local, we can make this happen

Awesome I'll just go that route then.

Haha, there's gonna be two heads getting cut off if you want touchin

      Thank you so much!!

07129908103 if you want the actual part, as seen here for my car:

But yeah, pretty much any M6 of appropriate length will do the job, it's not exactly a precision application.

The caution though is that the stock studs are stainless which is quite hard. If you cut something similar it has the potential to do thread damage on the aluminum head.

Not critical but for the $1 so that they cost seems like stock replacements are a best practice

I think I pulled some SS studs but will check. Either way they are hard enough to damage aluminum and cheap enough to not be worth fabbing something.

file the end after cutting and thread into a nut to make sure there are no burrs and youre GTG, works fine if you cant wait for real parts. you should be able to buy studs at most hardware stores anway
