    Snow Tire Size?

I was just offered a free set of snow tires on steel rims but I'm not positive they will fit my car. I'm currently running 205/55/R15 on my ix and the ones being offered to me are 205/60/R14, which sounds really close - but that may not actually mean anything. Anyone have any idea if these will work? I do not believe they were previously used on an E30.

    Thanks!

Thats what I'm trying to figure out. I know its common for snow tires to be a size smaller than normal but I don't know if that holds true for the ix.

Oh well this all became meaningless as I just figured out its only 2 snow tires and the ix has to have all four match so you don't burn the VC out - I just assumed it was 4 when they were offered to me. Thanks anyway!

14"s fit on iX's europe got them as standard equipment. Skinny is best and as mentioned ensure all 4 are the same size.

I didn't realize the iX had 14's in Europe. I thought they had to have 15's to clear the front knuckle design.

I run 14" bottlecaps as my non track wheel for the rallyx ix. Works great.
