Low Beams Not Working. HELP ASAP!!!!!
So here it is. My low beams don't work. I've checked the fuses and relays and they are all good. I've checked the ground wires and they're all good. All other wires look good too. Note that I don't really know what i'm looking at when it comes to wires but they're not frayed or wrecked in any way so I'd say that they're still good.
When I put on my high beams one of my low beams actually turns on, on the left side. So I'm not too sure what it could be. I know that they have a dual filament so I guess it could be that I just need to replace the bulb but the thing is that they're sealed beams so I would have to replace the whole light. I really need my low beams to work (obviously), I am going on a road trip to California in 2 days. If you have any suggestions then I will listen to anything. I don't know if I missed anything but I think I covered it all. If you need any pictures I would be happy to supply them. Thank you |

i'm assuming that you have the normal headlight assembly. if so, you just replace the whole bulb. they are cheap and easy to change. i think you just need two new low beams. if you get in a jamb, you can disconnect the low beam plugs from the bulb itself on both sides. then turn on the high beams and its not terrible for other drivers. you can also adjust them so they face down to help on coming traffic. its a bandaid type thing though. did you wiggle the connectors in the back on the bulb? you know you can take off the black plastic panels in the engine compartment to see the plugs? you can even unplug yours and plug a new one in to see if it works. the bulbs dont need to be grounded. you have them the old fix all smack already right? good luck whynot |

I got it all fixed, it was a combination between new sealed beams and a light switch replacement. Luckily my friend had a parts car I could take that from
