    Bilstein HELP

Quick question. What is the difference between the Bilstein B8 Sport shocks and Bilstein B8 Performance Plus? The Performance plus is a little more expensive but I have no idea what the real differences are.
Here are the links from Tuner Motorsport

    Who knows?

ECS Is cheaper for the B8's, anyways. I have them and they're perfect.

Aren't Koni Yellows better, for not much more money?

So it turns out the performance plus just has a bit more aggressive valving which better suits lowered cars.

And no, Koni Sports are overhyped. They use the ancient twin-tube design which slows rebound and causes cavitation within the oil. This and the fact that under high compression both tubes stress against eachother causes buckling in hard (or sharp) cornering and decreases heat dissipation.

Bilstein basically pioneered the Mono-tube design which is better in every aspect of performance. Better heat dissipation and does not cavitate as the cylinder is held under pressure by gas (hydrogen) at the bottom of the bore seperated by another piston. This design is superior in every way.

The only advantage Koni Yellows has is comfort/adjustabiliy, but im going for performance.

          Yes.

I've had a few sets of both. Not considering cost, I would choose koni every time, unless maybe for stock/soft springs where the high pressure gas of the bilsteins can feel like a little bump in spring rate.
