Bump because I love '02s and want to see this one brought back to life! I once bought an '02 with years of unpaid tags. Went to AAA and told them it was an old restoration project and they waived the fees! Also note that the automatics have a wider transmission tunnel and thus are better for swaps!Comment

If a car hasn't been registered for more then 5 years, my understanding is the DMV removes it from there system and no fee's will remain when you go to re-register it.

Nomad, It's been resprayed, I can't tell you much else since I didn't do the work.
As far as rust is concerned the underbody looks good, the bubbling is semi normal once you put into perspective that it's a 42 year old car.Comment
