    RHD ITB's / S50B5x Plenum?

Seeing as the bore spacing is the same for M2x/M5x/S5x motors, wouldn't the S5x intake manifold make an elegant solution to the need for an airbox with ITB's?

get rid of those plastic trumpets, use the silicon joiners around the RHD bell mouths and you're home and hosed?

    Looking at this pic here

It would seem that there's even enough clearance to run the standard S50 elbow into a massive filter.

    Thoughts?

Edit: I am clearly ignoring the massive spanner in the works of the brake booster. Perhaps swapping to a smaller unit like the Renault Clio would give some clearance.

I think you could make it fit. the biggest issue will definitely be booster clearance. it would probably be a lot better than open trumpets or worse, sock filters.

the big issues are brake booster and hood clearance and im not sure if that solves both these issues. making a plenum is actually easy
