the people in the pics are not Amish. they are Mennonite. Amish don't wear colors quite that bright and will not allow their picture to be taken.

Those are amish kids that are out of the order. Just for a period of time, so that they can decide of their own will if they want to come back to live in the oder or not. So the clothes, and other beliefs don't apply to them for that period of time.
