E30 one side brighter than the other HELP

    Hi There,

I have a question: on my 1990 E30, one side (driverside) appear to be brighter than the passenger side including the turnsignals, tail lights and headlights. When I hit the turn on the turn left signal it blinks too fast.

What could it be? Any help will be appreciated

corroded wiring can cause this. Your blinker going fast means a bulb is out, or a socket is corroded, or the wiring is corroded.

Easiest thing to start with is to replace the fuse for that side and see what happens. Then, check the front turn signal socket for corrosion. Test your bulbs to see if they're working (swap them from one side to the other if you can't see a broken filament). You might try a new turn signal relay although I don't think that's the cause of this.

Lots of electrical stuff can seem like it's good until you test it and find out for sure
