    E30 starts but dies

Hey guys! It's been a while since I posted (I've become more of a reader) and I have a problem. I bought an E30 that had sat for ~3 years or so last year. I bought the car as it wasn't running but it only had 51,000 miles on it. So as summer is coming around I really want to get it out onto the track. I'm looking for a list of things to start diagnosing. I'll post what all I've already done but I still feel like I'm missing something.

    The car:
    1987 325e 5 speed

    The Problem:
I can start the car but it'll die unless I keep giving it gas. If I floor it it doesn't go over 2500 rpms. And if I don't give it any gas then it'll just stall.

    Things I've tried/replaced (that I can remember)
    - In the fuel tank fuel pump (I guess secondary?)
    - Fuel filter on the side rail by the drivers door
    - Flushed the coolant system
    - Drained oil and put new oil in

I've replaced more but I can't remember everything quite yet. What all do you guys think could be the contributor?
