A little while ago I was gassing up at a Shell station. This gas station was pretty standard; 2 posts containing 2 pumps each (to keep track, 4 pumps total). It was about 11am and I was the only one at the pumps so I take my time and let my tank fill completely. As I'm waiting for the last gallon or so to flow in, providing fuel for my thirsty M20, some douchebag in his generic silver Prius starts to back into place for a gas pump...THE ONE I WAS STILL USING. I'm standing at the rear quarter watching in awe and calling "Hello?!" as this bold waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles backs up to within a foot of my bumper

Mind you, there are 3 open pumps the he could make perfectly good use of

This asshole puts his car in park and the gets out, makes eye contact with me, and then gives that faggy hippie I-don't-know-why-you're-looking-at-me-like-I'M-the-asshole half-smile.

Needless to say, I let the pump click off and then I proceeded to wash my windows THOROUGHLY while idling just to make sure he tastes gasoline later while he's munching on his tofu-cakes

I would think he would say that he would want quotes and once he gets them he'll try and haggle and disrespect me some more.

I brought it to my mechanic who has a shop next to an autobody shop, the auto body shop was closed at the time so I couldnt get a full quote but my mechanic looked at the damage and said that the bumper is most likely going to get replaced and the replacement painted. Which would bring the cost to over 1000 according to him.

To be honest I'm not really out to fuck anyone over, I just don't like that this all couldve been avoid had she used her brain and eyes.

I looked on RealOEM and looks like a Msport bumper is 100-150 bucks more than the OEM bumper I have. Let's see how their insurance handles this. Ill be going around getting quotes on Thursday. Including one from a dealership.

I start that way but the moment someone tries some bullshit I go in full asshole mode. I wouldnt even offer to settle it out of insurance/mediation at this point. I want to know their rates go up to remind them of me for years to come.

The E30 got scraped up years back when a tosser ran a light to keep up with the guy he was trying to hook up with when leaving some club. Dude tried to blame me, witnesses and the cop (who cited him) disagreed, he then tried to pull the same shit with the insurance (lying to them and filing a claim blaming me) and I was done, time to ruin his shit.

His insurance ended up remodeling the entire front of my car and repainting it. All total it ended up being a $5100 fender bender. His insurance dropped him and I bet his rates from then on out were horrific. Fuck that guy.

Lol but she drives a Prius?!?! You mean this isnt ok?
Her daddy could have spent half as much on the car, gotten just/almost as good of gas mileage, and did better for the enviroment by buying a non-hybrid civiv. I can almost garuntee the daughter doesnt drive the prius to its full potential, making the promise of 40mpg a far reach. I would be hesitant to say that an e30 does less damage in its entire lifetime than just the making of a Prius if you take into account the battery making process from mining to finished project.

Sorry for the mini rant. I just hate the Prius, and the hype that comes with it
