    Introduction

    Hi,

I've been lurking for a while, so I finally figured it was best if got around to registering. I'm a proud new owner of a 1990 Brilliantrot 325iC. Currently 100% stock, but soon to change. First step is to ditch the DB's and install the late model plastic bumpers that I just picked up - also putting on a Volvo lip and need to source a rear apron before I have it sprayed.

My eventual goal is to run a modest turbo setup; hoping to lay down 220-250whp. If all goes to plan, I should have it up and running by the end of the year.

Anyhow, thank you to everyone for contributing so much information to this forum. I look forward to participating.

                          Hi and welcome

250whp is a lot to ask of these cars. make sure you do all bushing, maintenance, bearings, brakes, etc. before getting into turbo land.

and it was going great... until:

but yeah, came here to say what Eric (Cabriolet) said.
please don't put volvo or taurus trim on that car. it looks good like it is.
my advice: harden the suspension/drivetrain for the power you plan on making. or at least, new stock bushings everywhere.

Thanks for the advice on the lip. It was kind of a toss in part when I bought the bumpers. And yes, I plan on having all the necessary performance parts upgraded. As far as the HP gains are concerned, I'd be considering the M50 swap to reach the 250whp level, which I also assume would help me in keeping the car CARB compliant.
