    K-Stock question

Anyone out there familiar with what BMWCCA CR rules mean practically?

One item I'm real curious about is the statement that "Control module programming is free". Does that mean the entire engine management package can be chucked out, or that only a piggyback unit is ok (or maybe not even that)?

Also, as the rules state no mods allowed after airfilter, would that mean a spiltsecond MAF conversion wouldn't be permitted? I'm guessing the SS unit also wouldn't be allowed as you can adjust it in the cockpit.

It would be interesting to see what the "absolute most" is that could be done, given the restrictions and minimum weight requirement.

    Thanks!

You can put any ECM chip in the car that you want.

You can use any air filter setup that you'd like.

    So...
    No standalone EMS
No SS MAF conversion or any piggybacks in Stock

Basically you can make sure the motor is in top running condition put any airfilter on it any chip in it and any exhaust after the OEM exhaust manifold as long as it retains the OEM configuration WITH catalytic converters.

    It IS Stock after all...
