    Crazy Find...Airtex e2448 same as Walbro 255lph

    Searching online for a quick fix for my walbro 255 fuel pump since I thought it was acting up. Did a search online and found the Airtex e2448 is THE SAME THING as a walbro 255lph from Advance Auto Parts. It doesnt have good reviews but its made by Walbro (Made in the Us) and the flow rate is around 283lph...

    Fuel Pump = $66.
    New fog lights = $20

    40% off 80 dollar coupon.

    Grand Total =$51.

    Cheaper than the fuel pump itself!

                      That's funny, I just put a new fuel pump in my grandma's Explorer, and everything I found said the Airtex ones were crap. I love re-branded parts.

                          "Just called up Walbro and talked to one of the fuel pump guys. He explained that it is indeed a made-in-USA Walbro 255 in an Airtex box. He did say that Airtex does manufacture their own pumps too, but the E2448 is sold directly to them.

                          So if anyone had doubts about them being refurb/lower quality, hopefully that settles you down!
