    Bmw Motor

    ok so i want to do a m3 motor and tranny swap into a 89 325i
    is it possible?
    if so what mods will i have to do and what is the price range?
    will an e36 motor fit?

                    no one has ever put an m3 engine into an e30... it cant be done. dont even try to search for it cuz you wont find any information on it.

                      It's a known fact that you cant retrofit bmw motors.

                      The only motor that fits is something from the GM family of v8's.

                        Ive also heard a good swap is the Dodge Cummins Diesel engine with the allison transmission. why the hell would you want to put a bmw engine in a bmw?? thats just ludicrous.

                            The hardest part of this swap is fitting the cummins diesel cat under the car and tastefully making the exhaust pipes vertical.
